Connect SureThing to Claude Code, Codex, or another coding agent and it can work with your SureThing resources — pages, websites, agents, and connected apps like Gmail, Slack, and Google Calendar — right from your terminal. Your coding agent does the thinking on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan. SureThing credits are only used when it runs an action through SureThing, such as sending an email from your connected Gmail — so the same work uses far fewer credits.

Set it up

1

Paste one line into your coding agent

Open Claude Code or Codex and send:
2

Approve the sign-in

The agent installs the SureThing CLI and runs surething setup. A browser window opens — approve the sign-in there, once.
3

Ask for something

The setup teaches Claude Code and Codex how to use SureThing. In your next session, just ask — for example “draft a reply to the latest email from Acme in my Gmail” or “update the weekly report page with these numbers”.

Good to know

  • The CLI needs Node.js 22 or later on your machine. Setup adds SureThing skills for Claude Code (~/.claude/skills) and Codex (~/.codex/skills).
  • Actions on your connected apps go through the same accounts and permissions as in SureThing.
  • Each machine you set up appears in Settings → CLI. Choose Revoke there to sign a machine out; it stops working immediately.
